"Willy Willy - The Dancing Spirits"

Willy Willy is a colloquial term we use in Western Australia for small swirling winds. They are also known here as "cock eyed bob's". I believe that elsewhere they are known as "dust devils". They are not tornadoes. We sometimes see them here in the metro area on warm cloudless days. They can be seen scooting across parks or down the street, swirling around and picking up leaves. Out in the desert they can become substantially bigger.
