If you wish to render your flame and save as an image, click
on the gear button
. A "Render to Disk" dialogue box will appear. In the
Destination File Name box browse to the file you wish to save
your image in.
Enter in the width and height you would like your image.
I find my flames render very nicely using a sample density of
between 400 and 600. Others use a sample density of 2000. The
higher the setting the better the definition of the flame.
Click the "Render" button.
Depending on the size of the image you may want to do something
else while you wait.
To view your image after it has finished rendering and been saved, you will need a graphics programme like Photoshop, PaintShop Pro, PhotoImpact etc. to open it. Or, If you don't have those, download The Gimp or Irfanview for free.
